The gentleman who did the BIG Tiger Sign at the scoreboard end of the Tiger Stadium was Claudius Bruce. He passed away last Friday. He did a lot signs and T Shirts for CHS in past seasons with his Custom Signs and Awards business before he sold the business about six years ago. After selling his business, the new name of the business now is Logo Express, Inc. He also created the State Championship (1981 and 2000) signs that are attached to the front of the Tiger Stadium press box.
He was a fine gentleman and a great Tiger follower and supporter. By the way, he did not charge CHS any fee for the materials or labor in making the big Tiger sign back in 2002.
