I’ll be glad when they stop televising the Heisman award. For all I know they already stopped. I have not watched or cared in years. Congrats to the young man who won but the trophy just does not mean what it once did. It is pretty much a media hype award now. Also there is not a clear definition of what the award is for either.
I am getting older so my sports viewing habits have been trimmed back. That has something to do with my lack of interest but also times have changed. There is no doubt in my mind that the UFC Pay Per View tonight got more attention than the Heisman.
